Accessibility is not an afterthought at STACK46 — it is a stated engineering value, built into every product we ship for ourselves and our clients.
STACK46 is committed to ensuring this website and the products we build are accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology.
We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the standard referenced by the UK Equality Act 2010 and the Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations 2018.
Semantic HTML throughout, keyboard-navigable interactive elements, colour contrast ratios checked against AA thresholds, alt text on informative imagery, and respect for prefers-reduced-motion and other user preferences. Accessibility is checked as part of our standard build and QA process, not treated as a final pass before launch.
As with any actively developed site, some pages, embedded third-party content, or older client work may not yet meet every WCAG 2.1 AA success criterion. We treat these as defects, not exceptions, and prioritise fixing them as they're identified.
If you hit an accessibility barrier on this site or a product we've built, tell us via our Contact page. We aim to respond within 1 business day and treat genuine accessibility issues as a priority fix.
This statement is reviewed periodically and updated as our site, tooling, and products evolve.
